What an incredible November it’s been in group! This Christmas, together we’ve raised a fantastic £500 for Stroke Association Northern Ireland — and I honestly couldn’t be prouder of our amazing Slimming World family 💜 Last week our morning group turned into a little winter wonderland with a mini craft fair , where talented members brought in their gorgeous handmade bits and bobs. Add in an extra-big raffle (with prizes donated straight from your own cupboards, craft rooms, and kind hearts!), and we had a morning bursting with generosity 🎁✨ And the kindness didn’t stop there! Our lovely evening groups also jumped in with additional raffle prizes and personal donations , showing once again that our community spirit shines just as brightly at 5pm and 6.30pm as it does at 9am 😄💕 We might all come together with the goal of losing weight, but as we know… Adrian’s Slimming World is so much more than a slimming club . We’re a community of people who look out for one another — and for others. Sadly, stroke has touched many families, and especially at this time of year we’re reminded just how vital it is that charities like Stroke Association NI are there to support survivors and their loved ones 💜 This latest fundraising boost has taken our total donated over the years to an incredible £2,400 . Honestly, you blow me away. Your kindness, your care, your laughter, your 5p donations every week — it all adds up, and together you have made such a meaningful impact. It’s been an absolutely incredible year for Adrian, the Slimming World Consultant at the Royal British Legion on Montgomery Road, Castlereagh — where he runs three thriving Slimming World sessions every Tuesday at 9am, 5pm and 6.30pm . A day of joy, inspiration, and recognition at Slimming World Head Office, Derbyshire. This weekend, along with Ashleigh Allen (Slimming World Gilnahirk) we had the absolute privilege of being invited to Slimming World Head Office in beautiful Alfreton, Derbyshire , for a very special event – the Slimming World Gold Celebration Day! 💛 Arriving bright and early for 9:30am, the welcome couldn’t have been warmer. We were greeted with delicious refreshments, friendly smiles from Head Office staff, and even treated to a professional photo shoot proudly holding our Gold Award 🏆. The morning began with a fabulous welcome from Lisa Salmon , Slimming World’s Managing Director, who set the tone for a day full of pride, passion, and positivity. We celebrated everything that makes our groups so special – the care, the community, and the commitment that helps our members achieve life-changing success 🌟. To our total surprise, Slimming World then announced that we were being presented with a brand-new accolade – the ‘Community Impact Award’ 🎉💖. This award recognises the difference our groups make in local communities, and I can honestly say it was such a proud and emotional moment. Adrian said ... "The most important thing in my Slimming World groups is our sense of community, we are one big Slimming World family at Slimming World Castlereagh" Ashleigh said… “For me, the magic of Slimming World is seeing members lift each other up week after week — we celebrate every win together and support each other through the tougher days too. It’s more than a group, it’s a family 💕✨” We toasted the achievement with a glass of bubbly 🥂 before enjoying a delicious, healthy Slimming World lunch in the stunning Head Office restaurant – talk about dining in style! 🍽️ After lunch, we had another photo shoot (we can’t wait to share those official photos soon 📸) and then were given an exclusive sneak peek into some very exciting developments. We heard about brand-new research focused on our younger members , and then… we were let in on a few secrets 👀 about exciting new Slimming World products and foods launching in January 2026 ! And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better… we were both shocked and delighted to be awarded an additional ‘Diamond Award’ 💎. This award recognises consistency in supporting members and maintaining exceptional success across a 12-month period – something we're incredibly proud of and truly humbled by. For Adrian this celebration felt extra special as it also marked 10 years since I first became a Slimming World Consultant 🎊. A whole decade of helping members achieve their dreams, change their lives, and discover a brand-new confidence in themselves 💕. Over those 10 years, I’ve met the most inspiring people, shared so many laughs (and the odd happy tear!), and witnessed the power of what we can achieve together 🌈. What a day!
